Contamination-Free Packaging
Traditional wood-based packaging depletes forests and timber is getting more expensive and difficult to source. The shortage of off-cut timber makes wood-based packaging unfeasible as a realistic long-term packaging solution.
Our pallet is 100% wood-free. The pallet is made of metal tubing and plates with a rigid frame structure that is strong, durable and lightweight.

Disposal and Fumigation Cost
The green packaging concept eliminates environmental issues associated with wood-based packaging. There is an International Standard for Phytosanitary Measure: Guideline for Regulating Wood Packaging Material in International Trade (ISPN 15) issued by the United Nations. This regulation requires heat-treatment or fumigation for wood-based packaging.
Our metal pallet complies with ISPN 15, therefore eliminating the need for heat-treatment or fumigation and the accompanying heat-treatment or fumigation costs that go with it. Moreover, there is no risk of wood related contamination and costs associated with disposal.
ISO 14000 Certification
Our metal pallets are strong, durable and yield a longer life-span compared to traditional wood-based packaging. They can be reused many times over and are able to withstand harsh handling environments.

Cost Savings on Warehousing

Savings on Packaging Materials
No additional plastic packaging material is required for packing the thirty-eight bales of block rubber for shrink-wrap-on-metal pallet. This helps conserve the environment as plastic is not easily biodegradable.

Savings on Freight and Transport Charges
Containerized shipments for natural rubber require two-tier stacking. Thirty-eight bales of block rubber (or 1,330kg) and sixteen of these pallets (or 21,280kg) fit neatly into a 20-foot ISO container.
The conventional wood-based packaging and other reusable packaging systems can only accommodate 20,160kg. Clearly, there is an advantage of 1,120kg extra payload per container not achievable by other packaging systems.

Hexagonal Crate
Our Patented hexagonal crate is specially designed to enhance strength and durability. This unique design has semi-hexagonal corners that provide added strength to each corner.
The structure of a square corner is significantly weaker than a semi-hexagonal corner, thus increasing the risk of deformation or breakage when the weight supported becomes too heavy. Therefore, our hexagonal crate provides the best-added stacking-support strength with non-square corners. The crate is made of mild steel tubing and plates and does not require high tensile steel.
In addition, our hexagonal crate offers nesting and stacking; nests when empty and stacks when filled.
